This brought back some memories.
I remember when doing that meant something else, no I’m not going to say what it was, but it ended in a lot of fun. If you know what I am talking about just post a smiley face and remember we were all young once. Happy Days.

My Mum thought we were "all a lump of sugar" when bouncing me on her knee in the very early 1950s.

I use to deliver the Beano etc as a paperboy and sometimes the "Thunderbags" would go missing

I remember seeing scales like this in the big tin shed in Guinness Buildings, Pages Walk, in the 1950s, though I never saw them used.
