This bought back some memories, I do remember Danny. My brother Bob & Danny knew each other as they both sang in the local pubs.

The original church building was destroyed by incendiary bombs during an air raid on 7 September 1940, making it the first British Church to be destroyed in the Second World War. I think Canon Thrift was Joseph Thrift? 1921-58. The Church was in Trinity Road which was off Rotherhithe Street. 1.Rothe...
